To leave Hainan Island, one should take seven consecutive tests with negative reports on the first, second, third, fifth and seventh days starting from August 7. So, the possible earliest time to leave after the government evaluation and approval is August 14th.

Sanya government announced the same policy on August 6.

From your travel card, you could approve that you did not come to Sanya in the past 7 days.

The above is for tourists under no isolation control. It means you are able to reach the airport. If you cant, that means you are under kind of isolation or control.

Till today August 7, cities/counties with no confirmed cases are Baisha白沙, Dingan 定安, Changjiang 昌江 and Qiongzhong 琼中. All popular tourist destinations are epidemic areas.

From August 1 till 7, there are 1140 confirmed cases and 313 asymptomatic patients, the numbers keep increasing. So, the provincial government decided to have the whole population checked from August. 7.

The above is our summery and translation from local government media. We can’t guarantee that you can leave the Island even you have all the reports ready as the polices keep changing.
