Transfers from Haikou Downtown/Haikou Meilan Airport to Sanya by High-Speed Train or Private car

There are 2 airports on Hainan Island: Haikou Meilan Airport in the north and Sanya Phoenix Airport in the south. If in case you have to land at Haikou Airport due to limited flights, but your destination is Sanya, then you have to find the right way to travel from Haikou to Sanya:

Haikou to Sanya by High-Speed Train:

By high-speed train along the east Coast of Hainan Island in 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours. Haikou Meilan Airport Station is at Haikou Meilan Airport with trains to Sanya almost an hour from early morning to late evening.

Please note if it takes more than 3 hours, and the cost is CNY140/way, then the train runs along the west coast of the island.

Tickets costs CNY119/adult and half price for child less than 1.4 meters high.

The last train is at 10pm. So, if your flight lands after 9pm, there is no big chance for you to catch the last train. Booking fee is CNY20/ticket, please email us the following to book the train tickets:

Travel from Haikou to Sanya by Private Car or Van

If your flight lands after 9pm, then no high-speed train to catch. Or if you have much luggage to carry, then a private transfer service will be the best option from Haikou Downtown or Haikou Meilan Airport.

Private car at CNY1500/way for max. 3 adults, a private van costs CNY1800/way for max. 5 adults with normal size luggage and a private mini-bus (for max 8 adults) at CNY2000/way. Our driver speaks Chinese.  Please note that the cost is for flight landing before 9pm latest. For any pickup request from Haikou Meilan Airport after 9pm, the cost will be 30% more due to late drive.
