Hainan Duty-Free Annual Quota to CNY100,000:
China’s Hainan Province increased its annual tax-free shopping quota for travelers. With effect from Wednesday, July 1, the quota was raised to 100,000 yuan (about 14,123 U.S. dollars) per person each year from the current 30,000 yuan. The categories of duty-free goods were also been expanded.
