Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) has shown full solidarity to the international community in the fight against the disease. To support and comply with the epidemic control measures from affected countries and in the interest of participants’ health and safety, the Forum, based on consultation with the host country and approval from the Board of Directors, decides to postpone its Annual Conference 2020. The Forum is fully confident that humanity will prevail over the epidemic.
BFA will take its unique advantages as a high-profile dialogue platform and make its due contributions to combating the COVID-19 epidemic and boosting the social and economic development of the world. The Forum will continue to host the 2nd conference of the Global Health Forum (GHF), the first conference of the Global Economic Development and Security Forum (GEDSF) and the first conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum (ISTIF) within the year 2020.
