Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced on March 7 that China will further implement a visa-free policy for citizens of six European countries, starting from March 14. They are as follows: Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Under this new policy, citizens of these six countries holding ordinary passports will be allowed to enter China without the need to obtain a visa for a stay of up to 15 days.
With direct flight from London to Haikou and Abu Dhabi to Haikou by Hainan Airlines, it is easy to visit Hainan Island from Europe. From December 2023, China has announced visa fre policy for 1 year for citizens from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia for a year, its foreign ministry said.
