Hainan Travel Package, Travel Schedule for 7 days 6 nights with visits to Haikou, Wenchang, Boao, Baoting in the middle & Sanya

The schedule is for tourists to have a wider view of Hainan Island from local life, beach to tropical rainforest in Baoting. The tour package covers the north, east coast, middle part of Hainan Island and Sanya in the south.

Day 1: Arrival & Haikou Tour by van

Arrival by morning or midday flight to Haikou Airport, check-in the hotel, rest and explore Qilou Old Street and its surrounding area on your own.

Hotel to Stay: Huangma Holiday Nanhai Museum Hotel right at Qilou Old Street.

For meals, we would recommend the Qilou Tea House where you will have many kinds of food from all over Hainan.

Day 2: Tour in Haikou by van 

Visit Haikou Volcano Park (wheelchair is not accessible), and Wugong Temple to know more about Hainan’s history, stay in Haikou Huangma Holiday Nanhai Museum Hotel.

Day 3 Haikou to Wenchang by van 

Check out the hotel in Haikou after breakfast, then start the tour to Wenchang with a stop at Puqian Town铺前老城 across Haiwen Bridge (海文大桥）, then visit Song’s Ancestral House宋氏故居, Tongguling铜鼓岭, and Confucious temple in Wenchang City Center and stay in Waika Hotel in Wenchang. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking distance to the old Wenchang city center, so explore the city more on feet.

Hotel: Wenchang Waika Hotel, right in the center of Wenchang. For dinner, we would recommend 琼菜人家 right across the street from the Waika Hotel.

Day 4: Wenchang  to Baoting by van with stop at Boao Qionghai

Check out the hotel in Wenchang after breakfast to Baoting. On the way, we will visit Boao Jade Belt, and the South China Sea Museum, and take lunch at Tanmen Fishing Habour 潭门渔港.  After a very local seafood lunch and a short stop at Tanmen Town 潭门 which is the biggest port on Hainan Island for South China Sea Fishing, start the ride from Tanmen to Baoting in 2.5 hours, and check in the hotel to enjoy the hot spring.

Day 5 Baoting to Sanya

After breakfast in the Hotel, we will check out to visit a very local market in Baoting Downtown for some grocery shopping, then visit Binglanggu local minority culture park on the way and Sanya Romance Park before check-in the hotel in Sanya.
For lunch in Sanya, we would recommend Seafood Market where you buy and have local chefs to cook for you as you like.
Hotel in Sanya: Crowne Plaza Sanya City Center, walking distance to local restaurants, shopping malls, and No.1 Market.

Day 6: Tour in Sanya by van 

After breakfast, pick up from the hotel to visit Nanshan Buddhism Culture Park with 108 meters Guanyin Buddha, and Phoenix Hill Park to have a great bird view of Sanya, stay in the same hotel Crowne Plaza Sanya City Center.

Day 7: Free & easy, then to Haikou Airport by a high-speed train.

We will arrange a high-speed train depending on your flight departure time from Sanya Airport. The train ride is 100 minutes, so check out time is 4-5 hours before your flight departure time.

The 6 Nights Package tour costs CNY3999/person, based on twin sharing for min. 6 adults/group  with the following services:
Hotel stay for 6 nights with daily buffet breakfast, local tax & service charge in the above hotels
Admission fees to the above places of interest
Private van (7 seats) for the above schedule, up to 9 hours/day with driver’s accommodations

Why lunch & dinner are not included in the packages:

A min. 10 persons/table is requested in local restaurants for group bookings. So for 6 persons/trip, we can’t book group lunches/dinners. Even if a group has 10 or more people, but the menus in the group restaurants are more or less the same.

We believe local food is a great part of your tour experience, our driver will recommend local restaurants at local prices. You will order and pay on-site. FYI, an ordinary local lunch or dinner costs around CNY30-50/person.
