With a target of attracting 5.5 million visitors in its inaugural year, including 200,000 during the national day celebrations, the project aims to create a vibrant and bustling hub. To reach Danzhou Ocean Flower Island in Hainan, tourists must fly into either Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province, or Sanya Airport. The recommended route is to take the Hainan high-speed loop train from Haikou Meilan Airport, a journey of less than 1.5 hours to Baimajin (白马井) at a cost of CNY60 per person. From there, a local taxi can transport you to Ocean Flower Island in approximately 20 minutes covering a distance of 12 KM.
If coming from Sanya, the journey takes 1 hour and 55 minutes at a cost of CNY99 per person. Given the loop nature of the high-speed train system, access to Ocean Flower Island is feasible from any city situated on the east or west coast of Hainan Island.
