On January 17, flight OD679 from Haikou to Kuching has taken off from Haikou Meilan International Airport, landed at Kuching International Airport at 7 am, which marked that the international airline from Haikou to Kuching has officially opened, The flight is the first new international airline in 2019. 30 traveling salesmen from Kuching started to investigate in Haikou.

This airline is carried by Malindo Air of Malaysia, undertaken exclusive sales by Hainan Wenhua Aviation Travel Corporation, using the latest Boeing 737 airplane which includes 12 First-Class cabin and 150 Economy Class.
