8-Day Cycling Adventure through the Heart of Hainan Rainforest, Hainan Island Middle Mountain Road Biking Expedition
Embark on an exhilarating cycling journey through the enchanting heart of Hainan Island, covering a distance of 350 kilometers. Explore the majestic Wuzhishan, the island’s highest peak towering at 1843 meters above sea level. Experience the adrenaline rush of conquering the legendary Atuoling Ridge, featuring a challenging 12-kilometer steep slope. Engage in the prestigious Tour of Hainan Cycling Race, where cyclists compete fiercely for the title of King of the Mountain, a tradition since 2005.
We recommend commencing your adventure in Sanya and concluding in Haikou. Begin with a moderate cycling distance of less than 60 kilometers per day for the initial two days to prepare for the demanding 12-kilometer steep slope on the third day. Follow this with a relaxed 50-kilometer ride on the fourth day and conclude with a 100-kilometer ride on the final day, totaling 5 days of thrilling biking experience.
Day 1: Arrival at Sanya Airport, check-in hotel, and equipment check.

Hainan Island Middle Mountain Road Biking Package costs CNY2199/person (twin sharing), 3699/person, single occupancy, min. 2 persons/trip with the following services:
- Hotel stay for 7 nights
- 7 Days’ breakfast in the hotel
- Bike rental for 6 days (choice of Giant, Merida Duke, Bianchi) with helmet, pack bag, front bag, cushion cover, tool kit, and inner tube included. A deposit of 500 yuan/bike is requested
Optional services:
- Supporting Car: Available at CNY1200 per day or a van at CNY1500 per day, inclusive of driver accommodations. Cyclists are responsible for the driver’s meals.
- Cycling Leader: Services priced at CNY800 per day, inclusive of accommodation. Cyclists are responsible for the leader’s meals.
- Group Dining: For groups of 8 or more, we recommend organizing lunch with us at approximately CNY80-100 per person per day, leaving dinner to individual arrangements.
- Daily Supplies: For groups of 8 or more, utilize our supporting van for daily provisions such as water, drinks, fruits, and snacks at approximately CNY30-50 per person per day during the biking days.
