Haikou Hong Kong flight marks the first international flight from Hainan in 3 years.
On November 16, Hainan Airlines flight HU703 took off from Haikou Airport, which marked the first international flight from Hainan Island since the covid-19.
The round-trip flight is scheduled weekly on Wednesday, taking off at 13:25 from Haikou Airport and arriving 14:45 at Hong Kong Airport, then 16:15 from Hong Kong and arriving in Haikou at 17:40.
As overseas passengers, all arrival guests from Hong Kong to Haikou should take their 8 days quarantines (5 days in an isolated hotel and 3 days at home).
According to the local government, there should be more international flights from Hainan in the coming months.
We do hope that life in China will resume as normal so international tourists can visit without quarantines.
