Q: Who can attend this Diver course?
A: To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course in Sanya Hainan, one must be min. 10 years old, or less than 65 years old. One also needs adequate swimming skills, and to be in good physical health. No earlier experience with scuba diving is required.
Q: What to learn in the course?
A: The PADI Open Water Diver course in Sanya Hainan consists of three main phrases:
- knowledge Development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
- Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
Q: What are the equipments?
A: In the PADI Open Water Diver course in Sanya Hainan Island, one learns to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, and a tank.
Q: What is the daily arrangement?
A: Day 1 will be material study and pool training at Haichang Fantasy Town Haitang Bay 三亚海棠湾海昌不夜城, Day 2 and Day 3 will be actual diving on Wuzhizhou Islet 蜈支洲岛. The venue could be on Fenjiezhou Islet depending on the water conditions. Fenjiezhou is around 1 hour drive from Sanya.
Q: What do you need from me for registration?
A: Name, Sex, Passport Number, Date of Birth, tel, address, email, Height, Weight, Shoes size, Eyesight, and one Digital Photo.
Q: How long does the PADI training course last?
A: The course is 3-day training from 10 am till 4 pm daily. All Lessons & Materials are from the PADI official course. The teaching language will be Chinese & English with Materials in Chinese.
Q: How much does the course cost and how to make the payment?
A: The total cost is CNY4320/person, with 50% Non-refundable payment upon confirmation, and balance upon arrival at the diving center.
Q: What is included in the training package?
A: Private instructor, training materials, equipment for the training, and boat transfers.
Q: When do I get my PADI Open Water Diver certification?
A: It is an e-card which you can download after the course
Q: Where shall I stay to join the course?
A: The training is in Haitang Bay, so please book your hotel located in Haitang Bay, and pick-up service is included in the package for guests staying at Haitang Bay. For those staying out of Haitang Bay, please book our pick-up services or order a Didi.

Q: Should I make a reservation in advance, or I can show up?
A: Reservation is requested for all bookings, please make reservations at least 48 hours, subject to final confirmation due to limited availability.
Q: What is the registration procedure?
A: Once you decide to join the course, please send us your passport copy to the registrar and we need to know your size to prepare the right diving suit.
Q: What shall I bring with me for the course?
A: Swimming wear, sun lotion, water, towels, and clothes to change.
Q: What to do as I don’t speak Chinese?
A: The course is in English & Chinese.
Q: What other costs other than the course fee?
A: Not really. Lunch is not included in the training package, please prepare a lunch box or buy on-site.
