The 3-hour yacht sailing package is available daily in Sanya from Hongzhou Pier 鸿洲游艇码头 in downtown Sanya at CNY2800 for max. 10 passengers (including baby or child) with the following services:
- Pick up & drop off service from your hotel in downtown Sanya or Dadonghai
- The entire boat is for private use for 3 hours for max. 10 persons with one captain.
- Snorkeling mask, fishing hooks and baits,
- mineral water and fruits
- Insurance
- Chance to drive the sailing boat under the captain’s instructions.

Questions on the Sanya Yacht Sailing Package
Question: Can anyone join this sailing tour?
Answer: Not really. Passengers over 65 years old, and pregnant ladies are not allowed to join the sailing tour. Each of the passengers should confirm that he/she is perfectly healthy for this tour.
Question: What are the facilities available on board?
Answer: 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, leisure area, air conditioner, fresh water, refrigerator, life jackets, and life buoys.
Question: When are the sessions available?
Answer: There are 3 sessions daily, 9 am to 12 pm, 12 pm to 3 pm, and 3 pm to 6 pm. We would recommend the morning session from 9 am as it is too hot to walk on the decks after 12 pm, normally the sun is very strong.
Question: Where to start the voyage?
Answer: The sailing boat docks at Hongzhou Pier near Sanya Bridge 三亚游艇旅游中心 the first yacht pier on Hainan Island and returns to the same pier. So please tell the driver you are going to the三亚游艇旅游中心, you will reach here:
Question: What shall I take with me for the sailing tour?
Answer: Your passports (not copies, not photos), your swimming wears, towels, sun lotions, swimming glasses, clothes to change after swimming, some snacks if you like.
Question: What is the boarding procedure?
Answer: Please arrive 30 minutes before departure, then register for insurance and sign a safety statement with your passport information.
The local marine authority charges CNY8/head including baby, please pay at the pier on the departure day.
On the boat, you will scan a code to register with the local marine administration (English version is available) then the voyage starts. Enjoy it!
Question: How far does the boat go?
Answer: The scheduled destination is Sanya Jiao 三亚角, which is about 5 nautical miles (9.26KM，25-30 minutes sailing) away from Sanya Hongzhou Pier, then the captain docks in the open sea area where you could go swimming/fishing, or snorkeling.
Question: What can we do during the voyage?
Answer: Snorkel, go fishing, swim in deep seawater, or just relax on the deck for a great sunbath.
Question: How about reservation and payment?
Answer: Reservation is a must with a 50% deposit, and balance before departure. We accept WeChat, Alipay, or credit cards with a 3% surcharge. The deposit is refundable with a 15% deduction as our service fee if cancellation is advised 7 days in advance.
Question: What to do in case of bad weather?
Answer: The local marine management administration would inform in advance if no sailings due to bad weather, then the deposit paid is refundable with 15% deduction as our service fee. Or reschedule with 48 hours’ notice.
