About the Boat:
It is a professional fishing boat, 23.98 meters long, with twin engines of 550P*2 and 2 generators of 16Kw. Endurance: 700 nautical miles, 10 fishing positions, equipped with a seawater treatment system and freezers.
There is a captain and one fishing guide on board to assist. The cost includes the following services: mineral water and fishing tools.
The trip covers approximately 52 nautical miles each way in about 3 hours, arriving at an oil rig, and returning to the pier by 8 pm.
- Everyone is welcome to go sailing?
Not really. Passengers over 65 years old and pregnant ladies are not allowed to join the sailing tour. Each passenger should confirm that he/she is perfectly healthy for this tour.
- What are the facilities available on board?
1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, and a leisure area. Additionally, the boat is 23.98 meters long, with twin engines of 550P*2 and 2 generators of 16Kw. Endurance: 700 nautical miles, and equipped with a seawater treatment system and freezers.
- When are the sessions available?
There are 2 sessions daily, from 9 am to 1 pm or from 2 pm to 6 pm. The morning session is recommended due to the hot weather and strong sun after 12 pm.
- Where to start the voyage?
The boat docks at Hongzhou Pier near Sanya Bridge 鸿洲游艇码头, the first yacht pier on Hainan Island, and returns to the same pier.
- What shall I take with me for the sailing tour?
Bring your passports (not copies or photos), swimming attire, towels, sunscreen, swimming goggles, change of clothes, and snacks if desired.
- What is the boarding procedure?
Arrive 30 minutes before departure, register for insurance, and sign a safety statement with your passport information. Upon boarding, you will scan a code to register with the local marine administration, and then the voyage begins.
- How far does the boat go?
The scheduled destination is Sanya Jiao 三亚角, approximately 5 nautical miles (9.26KM，25-30 minutes sailing) away from Sanya Hongzhou Pier. The captain docks in the open sea area, where guests can enjoy activities like fishing, snorkeling, and swimming.
- What can we do during the voyage?
Mainly fishing, while non-fishers can snorkel, swim in deep seawater, or relax on the deck for a sunbath.
- How about reservation and payment?
Reservation is required with a 50% deposit via email to caddie@sunnysanya.com and WeChat (ID: caddielu). Payment options include WeChat, Alipay, or credit card with a 3% surcharge.
- What to do in case of bad weather?
The local marine management administration will inform in advance if sailing is not allowed due to bad weather. In such cases, the deposit is refundable with a 15% deduction as our service fee.
