Paragliding Base on Hainan Island, Hainan Paragliding Center

Paragliding is a thrilling sport involving flying parachutes with design enhancements for improved gliding. It’s gaining popularity, especially among the youth. Now, a paragliding center is available on Hainan Island, situated at Hongqiaoling Lingshui, approximately 60 km from Sanya.
The Hongjiaoling Paragliding Center offers two take-off spots: one atop the hill and the other at Xiangshui Bay. The ideal spot varies with the season: from February to April, the beach is preferred, while May to November sees take-offs predominantly from the Hongqiaoling hilltop. Paragliding is not advisable in December and January due to the cold and windy climate.

Hainan Paragliding Package

The package is priced at CNY880/person and includes an instructor, equipment (elbow pads, knee pads, seat belts, helmets), insurance, transfer service to the take-off point (beach or hilltop) from the parking lot, and video shooting. The paragliding session lasts approximately 6-10 minutes, operating from 8 am to 6 pm, subject to weather conditions. We offer Sanya round-trip transfers at CNY600 for up to 4 persons.
  • There’s an age limit, with participants accepted from a minimum of 5 years old (20kg) to a maximum of 60 years old (90 kg). A non-refundable deposit of CNY100/person is required, with the balance payable on-site.

Safety regulations:

  • Visitors with high blood pressure, heart disease, or severe fear of heights are prohibited from paragliding.
  • Those who have undergone major surgery within three months are not permitted to fly.
  • High heels and slippers are prohibited; participants must wear sports shoes or sneakers.
    Belongings should be stored securely.
  • Throughout the paragliding experience, participants must not remove the equipment (elbow pads, knee pads, seat belts, helmets).
  • Participants must follow the instructor’s instructions during the flight and not untie any equipment without authorization. Cooperation with the instructor is essential during landing.
